The kitchen boasts plenty of space for large groups and is set up to make meal times, or anytime, a sociable place to be.

The dining room is our favourite feature, with our large signature table.
Gather around and enjoy the space.
A spacious main bathroom with both a shower and bath, plus a separate toilet for added convenience. The master bedroom also includes a private ensuite with shower, basin and toilet.

POOL

The large in-ground pool is useable all year round, but is unheated so perhaps best reserved for warm summer days.

Future plans for the Taimate Rural Retreat include:
  • Walking trails (coming Spring 2026) - see above shots taken from the walking trail at Brackendale. An 8.5km trail plus two shorter tracks are being prepared for guests to enjoy.
  • Corporate meetings or team building sessions - day or overnight bookings.
  • Host your workshop or event.
  • Fully catered packages for groups - business or social.

RATES - per night
Base rate - $350 (up to 2 guests)
Additional guests - $50 ea (3 to 8 total guests - bed available for each person)
Additional guests - $30 ea (from 9 - 12 total guests - trundler beds available for final additional 4 people)
